Cheryl Sharp is the Business Operations Manager for Heartland Workforce.  Heartland Workforce offers assistance to businesses by providing services such as:  posting job vacancies, referring qualified candidates for open positions, assisting with the costs of individual employee training, educating employers on various employment incentive programs, and providing Labor Market Information.  Heartland Workforce coordinates efforts with economic development, education, and business partners to promote a healthy economy and to increase the skill level of the workforce. Prior to joining Heartland Workforce, Cheryl worked for Florida Heartland Regional Economic Development Initiative, the School Board of Highlands County, and served as the Director of United Way, Highlands County Division. Cheryl currently serves on the board of the Heartland Food Reservoir and is a 3^rd generation Highlands County resident.
