Pam (Taylor) Karlson was born in Arcadia and grew up in Lake Placid.  Her parents are Dick and Peggy Taylor of Lake Placid.  She attended Lake Placid Elementary, Middle and High Schools, graduating in 1989 as Valedictorian.  She attended South Florida Community College, Stetson University and Samford University Cumberland School of Law. 

Pam married Greg Karlson of Lake Placid and her in-laws are Dr. and Mrs. Richard Karlson of Lake Placid.  She and Greg have two young children. 

Pam has been active in her community; has been a member of the Florida Bar since '94; and is currently serving as Highlands County Code Enforcement Special Magistrate.  She is Past President of the Greater Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce, Co-Chair of the Lake Placid Ridge Community Center Project, Member of the Keep Lake Placid Beautiful Board, Junior Achievement Volunteer, Justice Teaching Volunteer, Highlands County Bar Association Member, Leadership Highlands Class of 2004 Vice President, Highlands County Days Board Member, Heartland Workforce Board Member, Member of First Presbyterian Church of Lake Placid, Charter Member of Lake Placid Economic and Education Development Council and Ag Venture Volunteer.

The law office of Pamela T. Karlson, P.A. opened in November of 2003, in Lake Placid.  She also has a location in Sebring where she meets clients by appointment.  Many of Pam's clients are those who have known her for the many years she has resided in Lake Placid and many have come by word of mouth from clients and business associates who are pleased with the professional, personal and efficient service they receive from the law firm.  This excellent service is largely possible as a result of Pam's commitment to keep informed of the ever changing real estate and estate planning laws as well as the changes in client needs.  Pam's personal goal is to provide exceptional customer service in a comfortable, down-home, friendly atmosphere and to continue to serve Highlands County with its legal needs.
