This FREE event is open to local women and benefits the Sebring Safe House, a shelter for victims of domestic violence. 

Created in 2007 by Susan Geitner and Lucia Paul, Chaga International Independent Representatives, as a way of enhancing and enriching the lives of women in Central Florida.  This event offers a smorgasboard of valuable information focused on women's needs and interests.

MEET THE FOUNDERS:
Susan Geitner, Executive
Independent Representative

Susan has been part of the Banking and Mortgage industry during the 1990's. During that time, she served 2 years as March of Dimes committee Chair for the largest Florida based Bank (at that time) leading them to be in the top 7 fundraisers in Palm Beach County.

Along with her husband Jon, she also served several years volunteering for the MDA and occasional fundraiser for Junior Achievement. So we can see that Susan has a heart for helping others.

More recently, Susan has been in the real estate industry as a Broker Salesperson, and now independent Broker, serving 2 years as Lake Placid Board Of Realtors Awards Chair and winning the board’s President’s Award for service in 2007.

When Susan discovered the unique and powerful Chaga extract produced by Chaga International in 2007 and company Founder, Mr. Steve Gould's vision to impact people's lives in a positive and meaningful way, she was inspired to make a difference in her own "corner of the world." 

Working closely with her good friend, Lucia Paul, together they created the first Women's Enrichment Seminar with less than 20 in attendance, including speakers! 

Each year has grown in scope and size now offering vendors tables, silent auction and refreshments, along with fan favorite speakers and fresh new keynote speakers.

Brief History of the Seminar

Our first Women's Enrichment Seminar was held in the fall of 2007.  Early on, Pamela T. Karlson and Sheriff Susan Benton eagerly embraced our mission to enhance the lives of the women of our community.

In 2008, we were honored to have the News-Sun join us as partner in producing this important community event and continue to value that partnership as we grow in size and impact.

The mission of Chaga International is to create a foundation for a better way of life by providing breakthrough life-enhancing, anti-aging products, a platform for personal excellence and true financial freedom, all supported with the highest degree of ethics, integrity, leadership, quality, and service.

Lucia Paul, Director
Independent Representative

Lucia has had an exciting career owning her own business in Palm Beach County as Fashion Show Coordinator.  This experience dovetailed into working for Chanel several years as boutique coordinator, system trainer and administrative trouble shooting, which meant  traveling all over the country.  Determined to lead a more serene lifestyle Lucia, and her husband Jim, settled Highlands County in 1997.

More recently, Lucia has been a dynamic part of M.C. 2000 Realty in Lake Placid,  since 2004.  As office manager during the crazy real estate boom she kept the sales team running like a well oiled machine.

Recognized by many for her congeniality and professionalism, she won Administrative Assistant of the Year in 2006, one of the busiest years in the industry. 

Today, Lucia works part-time for the real estate company as well as spending much coveted time with her preschool granddaughters.  Her passion to share good health and blessings to those around her are only matched by her love of family and friends. 

Lucia is an active member of the St. James Catholic church as cantor and lector as well as RCIA leader. 

Even with her busy schedule she has successfully managed to share her passion of spreading contagious good health through Chaga International.  Her zeal to share this "gift from God" has inspired her to co-create this venue to educate others on it's positive, wholistic impact on women's lives.

This year, we are excited to add a few new speakers to the agenda: Ginger Carlisle with Primerica, Sandy DelValle with Save Dollar Travel, and Starla Shatler.

Our Seminar promises to be a wealth of fun, information and opportunity.  We're looking forward to an exciting day!
